Zizia Aurea, 9x12; 12x16
Prints available in 9×12, 12×16
𝘡𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘢 𝘈𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘢 was my first oil pastel artwork to get me back into creating. The beginning of my journey, yet it’s still true to the art I make today. This yellow flower grows alongside my favorite trail to walk in Pittsburgh’s Schenley Park. In my photography, capturing flowers with a blurred background is my favorite subject to revisit. The first pictures I took with a camera were often flowers, and this was a fun first choice to bring to life. Green is the color I love most, yellow a close second.
