A twist on the many flowers that grew around my hometown public library, the bricks are playfully transformed to an orange background. Complementary colors are fun to work with when you have a vivid flower color, like these blue 𝘋𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘶𝘮𝘴. Playing with depth and layering the flowers alone, while leaving the rest flat in comparison, makes it feel like they’re leaping out at me. I think that’s what drew me to take a picture of them in the first place.
