One of the prized gardens from my hometown, belonging to a sweet old lady, dazzles with these flowers. They’re the 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯, twisting and turning on this corner lot visited often by blue jays. People back home put a lot of care into their flowers, and walking home from school in the late spring was the most colorful time of year. This yard always managed to gather the most birds, though, which made it an extra special stop.
