I know summer is close to its height back home when these waxy 𝘖𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴 make their return. They're even more vivid in person, and the reflection of the sun makes them sleek. It was a fun pastime to spend afternoons around town, capturing the flowers that are lovingly tended. My appreciation for them started early, and it's easy to see why—such colorful and voluminous plants adorned every block of the town.
