Coneflowers, 9x12

Original artwork, silky crayon

This drawing was my first time using silky crayons, thanks to my mom who thrifted this set. They're Colorix silky crayons from the brand Amos, a Korean art supply with a very limited digital trail. I'm inclined to believe the set is at least a decade old based on the smell and the box they came in. Nonetheless, it was a fun drawing experienceβ€”like painting with lipstick! The vivid colors worked well from capturing the 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘴 from my hometown, symbolic of childhood.
